One of the benefits available from this site is the ability to create playlists of videos for use in- and outside of the classroom. Each playlist is associated with a single account which can contain an unlimited number of lists.
Step 1: Create an account
Click on "Create New Account"
Enter an account name (for courses it is recommended to use the Course Number or a variation thereof.)
Enter and confirm your "Read/Write" password. This is the password used at login to edit the video playlist.
Enter and confirm your "Read Only" password. This password will allow other to view the videos on the playlist, but not to edit the list.
Step 2: Create your playlist
(Note: After creating your account, you will automatically be logged into the account with read/write privileges)
Select "Create New List" from the menu on the right of the screen.
Enter a "List Name". Each account will support multiple lists, allowing video playlists to be created for specific lectures, topics and focus areas.
Enter a "Description". This should provide additional information regarding the videos contained within the list, as well as pertinent information for those viewing the selected media.
Managing your Video Playlists
Adding clips to your playlist(s)
Select "Search for Clips" from the menu on the right of the screen.
Enter your search term in the dialog box.
Select you’re the clip(s) you wish to add to your list(s) by clicking the checkbox next to the clip name.
Click on "Add selected clips to list"
The selected clip(s) title, description, clip id and length will now be displayed. Below each clip will be a drop down box of all the lists associated with the account. Select the list each clip will be associated with and then click on "Add clips to list(s)" from the menu to the right.
Editing a List
Select the list you wish to edit by checking the box labeled "Select List".
Select "Edit Selected List" from the menu on the right of the screen.
Make any necessary changes to the List Name or Description.
When finished, click "Update List".
Removing clips from a list
Click on the link labeled "Edit Clips".
Check the box labeled "Select Clip" for each clip you wish to remove.
Select "Remove selected clips from list" from the menu on the right of the screen.
